Some time ago, my parents dumped over SIXTY (yes, sixty!) garbage bags and boxes of family memories on me while downsizing to their retirement home. While some may have thrown those bags in the trash, I couldn’t just let it go. Among journals, writing assignments, and yes, moldy childhood crafts made out of food, I found pure gold: video tapes, cassettes, and many other precious items were hidden amidst all the rubbish. After acquiring the necessary equipment and spending many hours figuring out how best to accomplish this task, I hit my stride and got everything backed up for my family to have for many generations to come.
My family was so happy watching these memories together. I decided that I truly wanted to help others see their memories again as well. This is a very rewarding job for me.
Thus this business idea was born.
